Story Walk Trail opens in Aitkin City Park

STORY WALK TRAIL
City Administrator Jen Thompson said that a new Story Walk Trail has been installed at Aitkin City Park. Start near the
playground and follow the numbered signs approximately every 200 feet, clockwise around the trail.
The trail ends near the skate park.

The first featured story is “We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt” by Steve Metzger. New books will be featured throughout the year.

Aitkin County SHIP purchased the Story Walk Frames, the Aitkin Street Department installed them and the Aitkin Friends of
the Library supplied the books.
