Live Music, Arts, & Entertainment

From wilderness adventures to business ventures, it’s naturally better here.

The City of Aitkin—as some have called the “Nashville of the North”—is home to a rich performing and visual arts community, craft food and beverage, and history. Local artists are known for their paintings, drawings, and handmade goods displayed in area art galleries. New visual art exhibits are on display at the Jaques Art Center every eight weeks. Large-scale live music events and theatrical performances are held throughout the year at the Ripple Event Center and Long Lake Conservation Center, as well as daytime events in the summer such as Music in the Park.

And, you’ll enjoy a thriving local live music scene thanks to the Aitkin County Friends of the Arts with performances every Friday night at multiple venues across the city of Aitkin.
