Health & Human Services temporary relocation notice effective Sept. 1

Aitkin County Health & Human Services (HHS) will be temporarily relocated due to a facility remodel.

The new temporary location is at the Aitkin VFW, 36558 410th Ave., Aitkin.The department anticipates being at this location until early spring or summer of 2026. The public will be notified when HHS has returned to its original building.

SERVICES AVAILABLE AT THE VFW LOCATION:
• Make a payment
• Drop off paperwork
• Initiate services
• Speak with a financial worker
• To apply for WIC, call 218-927-7201
• For assistance with another public health matter, call 218-927-7200

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Hours of operation: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
• A secure drop box will be available at the VFW location for submitting paperwork. It is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
